Twilight Striped Sydney Shirtdress S

Mint condition 1940s striped dress with soft black velvet and embroidered trim on the collar and cuff, playing off the shiny faceted buttons down the front. Very cool fabric with crisp stripes in heathered blue and black. and expert construction with princess seam darting and inseam pockets on the full pleated skirt. Label "An original Gross-Sydney" of New York, circa 1940s.
