Garnet Tapestry Bag

Vintage custom made 1960s tapestry bag in a beautiful garnet red and black weave with engraved goldtone metal frame and circular brass chain strap. Thick fabric has thin braided trim and nice quality burgundy grosgrain fabric at the sides. The interior is a delightful surprise, with a silky periwinkle lining, two pleated pockets plus a bonus little periwinkle coin purse! From label Christine Custom Bags of Detroit, Michigan.
