Details abound on this beautifully draped 1940s rayon crepe LBD. The classically relaxed bodice sports a dreamy split dolman sleeve to expose the upper arms, double darting, original shoulderpads, and then that gorgeous swirly silver sequin and bronzed soutache embroidered flourish trim trailing the entire right side. This then meets a softly flared asymmetrical peplum-like panel over the skirt. What a beauty. By label Alacon of New York, circa 1940s.
