Ayako Printed Silk Mini Dress XS/S

Rare early Ayako mini dress in a traditional Japanese floral medallion print on orangey-red and soft navy blue silk crepe fabric. The two tone effect is brought together with expertly topstitched scalloped seams around the fitted bodice, wide cuffs and flared short hemline. Cheeky mid-late sixties silhouette with a puffed sleeve, high neckline, and princess seam construction on the fit/flare cut. From label Ayako, circa 1960s.
