1940s Mauve Lace Slip XS

This simple and sumptuous slip skirt is a beautiful elevated basic. Fitted at the waist, it skims the hips before flaring out to a subtle A-line accented with intricate floral lace and a unique front slit. The satiny mauve silk/bemberg blend is feminine and luxurious and pairs well with soft sweaters or edgier leather. By label Chevette, circa 1940s.
