Swansdon Velvet Collar 40s Blazer M

Well constructed 1940s little black blazer with a killer hourglass style fit, featuring a strong shoulder, nipped in waist (so much seamwork!) and curved pocket flaps that accentuate the hip. Wonderful details like the velvet trim collar, shiny molded jet black buttons and sharp notch at the cuffs. There are two labels "styled by Swansdown Cygnet of New York" and the store tag Ernst Kern Co. of Detroit "Timely Fashions".
