1940s Charlet Beaded Handbag

Dreamy (nearly) antique bronzed beaded pouchy purse with an octagonal hinged lid revealing a sweet circular mirror underneath. The myriad beads make the bag glisten so beautifully in the light, and the gathered detail along the rounded body add extra dimension too. The interior is fully lined and just large enough to fit a medium sized smartphone (not a plus). By brand Charlet of New York/Paris, circa 1940s.
 
• 7" width, 5" height, 6" depth, 5.5" strap drop
• Glass beads, grosgrain lining
• Lid top with snap closure
• Great condition, a few slightly worn areas along the edges (see pics), mirror has some marks
