1940s Whiting & Davis Alumesh Ivory Purse

We just love these purses, the feel of the metal mesh is addictive, and the style is timeless. This 1940s beauty is made from a flexible texture "alumesh" with a comfy coiled strap and extra chunky celluloid frame, sporting a twisted etched texture and bold bauble locking clasp, The navy fabric lining is plenty big enough for a phone and essentials, and also has two small slip pockets for more storage. By Whiting & Davis, made in USA, circa 1940s.
