Absolutely stunning! This unbelievable late 19th century Chinese royal blue silk robe is a real museum piece with incredibly intricate all over embroidery featuring birds, butterflies/moths, blossoms, and a bevy of expressive dragons. An easy open style, it has wide 3/4 sleeves with ivory embroidered cuffs, a high neckline with frog closures, and a swingy flared cut. Totally wearable over a slip dress or flared denim and a tank, the impeccable hand embroidery would look just as beautiful hanging on your walls when not being worn. No labels, handmade circa late 19th century.
