70s Barbara & Nigel Lofthouse Leather Deco Burst Clutch

Holy leatherwork Batman!
Vintage Barbara and Nigel Lofthouse clutch is a very rare limited edition piece from March 1974, made in England and sold at Henri Bendel. The craftsmanship is so awesome, with tiny strips of appliqued multi-texture leather creating a triangular arrow motif over the snapped front flap. There are also abstract painted details on the front and snakeskin accents. The back is unadorned, and inside there is a small slip pocket and handwritten label.

Stats: 13 3/4" wide x 9" high x 2 1/2" deep
Condition: Fair to Good vintage condition. This bag shows some wear but is definitely still ready to party. There are a few spots on the light gray leather in front, along with scuffs and discoloration on the back. Some stitching on the interior pocket has come out and the bottom reinforcement panel is curled up (see in pics)
