Astounding prairie goth gown with incredibly fine detailing and craftsmanship. Victorian style with a well fitted 1970s sensibility. Yards of black silk taffeta are paired with fine black lace trim for a major statement. So many details... Fitted pintucked bodice has a high lace collar with small ribbon bow. Well puffed shoulders lead to a tapered sleeve with short zipper and hook closure at the lace & bow trimmed cuff. Nipped in waist and voluminous ultra full maxi length skirt bedecked with double tiers of full lace ruffles along the floor skimming skirt. A true masterpiece. And surprisingly wearable! Comes with matching long sash tie (not attached). By label Aldrich, unionmade, circa 1970s.
