No words for the phenomenally epic antique Chinese nail guard jewelry piece. Long and sharp shape is covered with intricate butterfly and floral repoussé work. The silver piece overlaps around the finger, and can be adjusted easily. Cutout guard on the underside, for ventilation. This style dates from the Qing Dynasty and is likely from around the turn of the century.
Label: No markings
Stats: 3" long
Content: Silver, appears to be plated because there are brassy tones coming through where the metal is worn
Condition: Great / natural patina and a little bit of topical scratching. The tube for the finger is just a little bit bent out.
