Bright White Broderie Anglaise Dress M

Lovely and ladylike, this classic white sun dress features beautiful lace and a surprise keyhole button back. The bodice is simple and roomy, showcasing the intricate open lacework and white on white embroidery in sweet floral motifs. The crisp, voluminous midi length skirt has deep hip pockets and gathered pleats with a wide panel of matching lace at the scalloped hem.  The elastic at the waist has been somewhat stretched out but is still wearable more loose or with a wide belt -- dress it up with ballet flats or mary janes for a garden party or toughen it up with cowboy or combat boots, we suggest adding a pop of color like hot pink or red. By label Asanté, circa 1980s.
