Superb Delvaux leather bucket bag in warm chestnut brown with a softened pebbled texture and signed brass hardware. Enormous slouchy body has double cinching ropes connected to the shoulder strap, along with a thicker hand strap connected with chunky brass lock (this can also be tucked inside). Magnetic snap closure, keychain leash and long slim logo embossed pocket inside. Signature golden "D" hardware throughout. Delvaux is known as the oldest leather goods house in the world from Brussels, Belgium circa 1829.
Label: Delvaux • Bruxelles • Handmade in France
Condition: Good but not perfect. There is topical wear - visible scuffing around the edges and darkening to the rope straps from use. See close up pics. This is all relatively minimal considering the beautiful materials and construction. The bag will look better from age or can be restored. There are no structural flaws.
