Denise Are There! Acorn Maxi XS/S

One of our favorite obscure labels, Denise are There! or Here! This dress is a floaty full sweep renaissance inspired relic, with a whimsical acorn bunch and paisley border print on a soft tomato red base. The cut is romantic and unique, with tight stretchy smocking over the bodice and the shoulders, exploding into airy ballooned sleeves and a voluminous skirt trailing from a high empire waist. She's wearable yearround thanks to the breezy weave, but would really shine in the autumn, amongst the oak trees. By label "Denise Are There!", circa 1960s.

• 50/50 poly/rayon blend, crisp but light with airy drape, has a cotton-y feel
• Unlined, semi-opaque, more see-thru in direct light
• Zipper down the back
• Excellent condition, very light signs of wear but no major flaws
