Embroidered Cutout Linen Dress S/M

Incredibly intricate vintage cut out embroidered Irish linen lace shift dress in stark red on crisp white. The fitted sheath silhouette has a scooped back, bust darts and angled french darts at the body for a close fit. Amazing design featuring large blooms framed with poppy red netted lace and stitching. Wear with a contrasting slip or skivvies underneath! Selvedge is stamped "Crease Resisting Linen Blend", made in Ireland, circa 1950s/60s.

• Great condition, some very very faint watermarks on the linen, mostly near the lower embroidery, most visible in last close-up pic, but still extremely faint.

Fit notes: close-cut with no stretch. Shouldn't be *too* tight bc of the fragile fabric and need to layer. Also works worn a little bit loose on a smallish medium.
