Holy golden hour sunshine yellow pleating!! Incredible vintage 1980s fortuny pleat strapless dress with the highest quality construction and cut. Simple yet structural silhouette has a boned bodice (lined with 2 layers of paperthin silk), asymmetrical Grecian draped skirt with organza lining for volume, and nipped in waist with extra long matching sash to tie. There are even small fabric covered weights at the side seams to keep the skirt in place. Unfortunately, the label has been removed, but we have no doubt that this is a Mary McFadden couture dress, circa 1980s.
• Size S (some range, see measurements)
• Synthetic, micropleated & glossy
• Fully lined, opaque
• Hook/zipper down side
• Great condition, very slight signs of wear but no major flaws. Small mark on the piping along the top of the back of the bodice (see in last pic).
• Style No. D2716
Fit notes: tightly fitted in bodice & waist with no stretch. Hip has some flexibility with the overlap wrap cut. Bodice/bust should fit tight. Waist can be a little big because the sash can cinch it.

Barbara is 5'5" / 32"b, 25"w, 34"h / garment IS pinned a bit at the bust (not the waist)
