Tapleys Metallic Circle Skirt S
Incredible full circle skirt hand blocked and hand painted with a whimsical silvertone deer and botanical print covered in wonderfully explosive abstract bronzed splashes. Highly textural, with the metallic finish giving the sturdy cotton weave a stiffness that drapes and twirls beautifully. Very modern and artisanal feel for a piece made 70 or so years ago. Label reads "designed and hand blocked by The Tapleys". Circa 1950s.
