This 1970s does 1940s dress and jacket ensemble is as cute as can be!  The sleeveless mini dress has a fitted bodice in the sweetest navy pointelle knit and the close cut plaid jacket has a bright white oversized dagger collar, and a nipped in elastic waist with a tie to cinch and a flirty peplum effect that is just as cute with the matching dress as it is with jeans or shorts. The cheerful picnic plaid in shades of marigold, berry, navy, and scarlet will brighten all your spring days -- try the pieces together with brown boots or red mary janes or top the dress with your favorite denim jacket and add a belt at the waist.
