J. Peterman Navy Silk Beaded Jacket M

STUNNER. Vintage midnight blue crisp silk 19th century inspired jacket sporting some incredible beadwork and tailoring. Where to begin.. the back has fabulous "step" pleated vents and fringed bead appliqués. The glossy black beaded leafy blossom motif trails over the back shoulders and down the front on both sides of the 19 molded buttons down the center. 19 buttons! Double darting for an antique fit, stand up collar and wide adorned cuffs with crisp pleated trim. Never worn and truly magnificently made. From label The J. Peterman & Company of Lexington, Kentucky. Made in China, circa 1990s.
