Embroidered Wool Bunad Belt Bag

Gorgeous traditional Norwegian folk belt bag made from a richly decorated metal frame and soft blue rounded pouch with a sweet peony embroidered design. The flourishing stamped pattern covers the hook plate that clips onto your belt or waistband, has a springy sliding lock, and hinged opening revealing a roomy interior. The frame is stamped "Jons Kristiansen, KJOSE, NM", it's from the Graffel region of Norway. While these are still made in the traditional fashion, this metal frame looks circa 1960s or earlier (to us) based on the stamp and patina.
 
• 6-9" width, 8" height, 1.5" hook length
• Embroidered wool, fabric lining, pewter metal frame
• Sliding knob lock closure
• Great condition, no notable flaws but light tarnishing to the metal and some DIY style stitching inside the pouch
